Radhika Weds David

I designed all the wedding collaterals for Radhika and David Schwartz, combining handmade craft with photography and digital design. The main logo element was hand-stitched onto fabric, then placed on a shimmering fabric as the centrepiece of the identity. For each event, I photographed petals of a different flower, each chosen for its meaning and its traditional association with that celebration, and built that event's design around them. The result sits between the tangible and the digital, so it makes people look twice: is it real, or is it on screen? This interplay of the real and the digital runs through much of my work, from stitched book covers to clay sculptures turned into graphics.
