Shrishti Institute of Design - Interim

Through January 2023, I worked as visiting faculty and resident artist with a group of third-year design students at the Srishti Institute of Design, Bengaluru. Within a limited time and budget, we set up an exhibition of ecological art that spoke to human hypocrisy towards nature. I guided the students from concept to installation. The works juxtaposed human intervention with natural life, tracing its effects through the past, the present and a dystopian future. Every piece was made from recyclable or natural materials, so the exhibition itself left no waste behind. The Technology for Wildlife Foundation supported the show as the research experts and guided us on the ecological context.
