Studio Mannina

Studio Mannina is a ceramic studio in Pune, India; mannina means "made of mud" in Kannada. I created its full brand identity: logo, tagline and brand symbol, and art-directed the ceramics photography. The symbol is an M with a degree sign, because firing and temperature are central to pottery. The visual language is built from the potter's own work, arranged and balanced so each piece reads as an artwork, presenting ceramics as an art form. Small visual elements drawn from the ceramics sit alongside an earthy palette, with a blue that stands out deliberately against the earth tones.
